katoftw
After looking at the newer pictures of the footbridge. the door piece doesn't look like it fits well up against the station piece. Might be more suited to gluing onto the side of a building? Edited July 11, 2015 by katoftw Link to comment
kvp
Just cut off the arched part and use the double doors only. If you paint the frame brown, then that may even match the style of the station. Link to comment

JR 500系
Ordered about half the post. haha haha ~ It is tempting, isn't it? I mean, I finally can get a 373 series, and it seems this also came with some sort of a manual for this line as it is the 'secret' line for train scenery... Also comes with a really special headmark "飯田線秘境駅号' AND The 7000 LSE in old colour at a fair price for a full 11 consist is just too difficult to resist... 1 Link to comment
kvp
I don't collect JRCentral trains, but the 373 series is one of my favourites from them. Of course, then i would also need a 313 series and maybe a Wide View Hida. The bad part is i do have a few JNR era Iida line sets. This line was already forgotten back in the JNR days as it got most of the old equipment that would otherwise be discarded. They even had a railroad museum, Sakuma Rail Park before JRCentral decided to srcrap most of the trains stored there. (this shows, that in Japan even an old preserved train in a museum could get scrapped) The 7000 LSE is in its current configuration, the previous Tomix release was in the original configuration with the original pantographs. So people who model the JNR era, might have to change a few things. Otherwise i like it too, but if i start collecting Odakyu too, then that would be rather bad from a financial point. JR 500系
Yes. The Nagasaki bus and the bus case. They (Tomy) haven't released a general use bus case before like Casco have previously. Ahah ~ Kyushu, yes I should have understood ~ :) Yap I would like that case too, as Tomytec All Island bus collection are missing cases all the way from JB001 till now... I do wish to see some pictures though if the case would come with some description below the gap that would be fantastic! Actually, the tall buildings and that clock tower, billboard accessories look good too! Link to comment
katoftw
I cannot see the AJB case being much different from the LRT case. Insert with multiple pieces that can pull out to fit numerous designs of buses. And a single unpainted bus included. Very similar to the Vol.1-19 bus cases already released, but having different insert. Link to comment

Very similar to the Vol.1-19 bus cases already released, but having different insert. Actually I was just wishing they did something special with the AJB case but like you said, they probably take the same concept with the other Tomytec bus cases... Doubtful on the unpainted version though, as from JB001 till now there are 3 main types of models: いすゞエルガ 三菱ふそうエアロスター 日野ブルーリボンⅡ which model will the unpainted be based on? The 三菱ふそうエアロスター unpainted was featured in the collection 19 already, so I do hope it's the other 2... Link to comment
katoftw
I would example the 2 previous LRT cases released to see what Tomytec will do with the new AJB case. The first LRT case case with a Kumaden 800, Okayama 9200, Manyo Line MLRV1000, Centram 9000, Toyama LRT0600 shaped unpainted tram. This current released LRT II case comes with a Toyohashi T1000, Toyama T100 shaped unpained tram. I'd think they probably do the same for the bus cases. The unpainted model will be whatever is the most modern at the time of the cases first release. Note the first case is only for a single style of LRT, where the second case supports all styles. Same as the Bus Collection Volume cases, they only support the buses for those collections. This new Tomytec case I think will be like the Casco inserts you can already buy. Funny useless side story:- I was looking for a original LRT case at the start of the year. As I wanted to paint/make a Cocoro tram as I rode on it last October, which was the first month it was running. Then Tomytec did me a favour and announced its release instead. katoftw
Any talk of a Keihan Otsu 700 in normal green livery? Link to comment
Densha
Not yet, but I'm sure it will be done soon considering they only need to change the paint. The Keihan 700 type didn't have as much advertisement liveries as the 600 type has had over the years, so I hope they'll leave it at just a 700 in green livery. I don't need more 600s because I have almost all possible variations now and plenty enough 600s with ad liveries. If Tomytec would just release a 500 type and do a standard commercial release for the 80 type I can complete my collection and stop spending all my money into this. :P Link to comment
