im going to suggest to them they create a link page that just has direct links to search groupings based on series that they have and use to base a lot of the site structure/nav on like:

 

tomytec:

railway collection

visual scene collection

 

etc

 

ive started my own bookmarks to jump to these things now, use to be able to do them in one click from the site...

Yap, i just received my shipping notice now, when my order was made on 29th April. I did contact them and they explained it was due to the Golden Week holidays.. Oh well..

 

Side note though, I made my order and payment on 30th April for Plaza Japan and the first parcel came in today! Nice! Leaves me thinking wow Plaza Japan didnt enjoy the golden week?

I just had my first Hobby Search encounter.  Placed the order Tuesday night (Kato EH200), shipped Wednesday, received Friday.  Amazing.

the sale was 99% lame ass crap that not even a sale can sell though it did have the good ol tokyu 6000 GM model and the 10000 which i would buy if it was a bit cheaper.

 

what happened tothe new items added daily claim :p

 

 

 

On another topic in terms of shipping if one were to buy a track set and wanted to cut shipping prices

 

Would one find it acceptable to ask seller remove all track, books and accessories and pack into a bubble wrap then box as per normal shipping from there.

 

or would you like the box also.

 

I understand some do temporary stuff but this question is directed at those using on a  layout.

 

this would cut off a fair bit of weight in shipping what do you think?
