Now the 10-car E5 can be placed together in one case! I really like this order as it has the E233-6000 which looks really good, and the Spacia in purple is very nice. This order also completes my E5 and the E series project to change all Kato to Tomix shinkansens. Edited July 26, 2014 by JR500 のぞみ 3 Link to comment

JR 500系
What do I spy with my little eye? Is it a Tomix E3 Toreiyu? Sharp little eye there Densha san! Yap, it's the E3 Toreiyu, but only a pamphlet. It's got this N-scale E3 Toreiyu on it's cover, which really makes me wonder is Tomix really gonna release this? It's beautiful! Wow that's quite a haul!! Your cc is going ouch! Enjoy! Jeff Hi Jeff! Yap the CC has been bleeding non-stop for the past few months... Really need to put a stop to this to recover before a frantic buying trip in the land of trains next year! Link to comment
katoftw
Tomix 30D containers and KATO Koki 104 2 pack. Dont really want the Kato pack no more. Was a pre release order ordered in 2013 and since then have collected enough Kokis. Probably just fleabay it. Edited July 29, 2014 by katoftw Link to comment
Ken Ford
I'm getting spread pretty thin, but I have to admit the intermodal cars have been catching my eye. Those Kato Kokis are nice! Link to comment
Martijn Meerts
I've decided to take a break from buying rolling stock once all my pre-orders are in, and I've finished some more kits and get a partially working layout, and converted more trains to DCC .. That said, it's more than likely I'll still end up ordering new rolling stock ;) Link to comment

nscalestation
Recently I got this in the post. We rode the Hikari version of the 700 between Tokyo and Osaka on our last trip so I wanted the model. This is 12 cars of a 16 car train, now I've just got those last 4 to get to make it complete. 2 Link to comment
Martijn Meerts
Just ordered myself a new desk, so the old beat up one can be moved to the soon-to-be hobby room. That should mean I'll be able to work on things like decoder installs, brass kits, T-Trak modules etc. a bit more often .. Theoretically anyway ;) Link to comment

miyakoji
If I bought a model of every train I've ridden on ........................ I like this idea :). I often bought the 500 yen timetable books, and on the maps in the front I would highlight all the lines I had ridden. I liked to keep track :) Link to comment
Fenway Park
Kato D51 Slug : May have to find standard tender top and remove the non working extra headlight to get to a Kyushu version. Then Kato will issue different versions of the Slug or will they? Link to comment

Krackel Hopper
Another 1/144 dekotora truck showed up today for the collection! Someday there is going to be a fun dekatora show in a parking lot scene to do! Jeff Where are you finding these?! Do you know the brand? Any pictures? Link to comment
cteno4
Krackel, This was ebay, they come up now and then. Looks like they were probably a Lawson promo maybe 10-15 years back when dekatora was a bigger thing. There is no manufacturer name on them at all. They look to be maybe 1/150, but think probably 1/144. First ones I got were from a friend living in Japan and he found them in a second hand shop. Later I've picked up a few off eBay. Probably on yahoo.jp I expect. There are a few tomica dekatora, but those are closer to 1/87 as they sort of do the scale to fit in the box thing with some of those. They are treasured possessions! Ill snap some Picts for you Jeff Edited August 7, 2014 by cteno4 Link to comment
EF65 1100
Recently received the Kiha 48-500 Umineko set. A beautiful train with vivid colours! And some random parts for repairs and customization. In particular, I am looking to add the handrail piece and the coupler release piece for the Kato 3037 EH500 2nd production type that I have owned from a while back. The new 3rd production kind has those parts included but the old one did not... it will be fun (and time consuming). :) On the side note, I like the 2nd production colour a little better than the 3rd. I hope they don't re-paint them... Link to comment

IST
They hate going around curves, but are excellent at getting sushi to the mouth! As a Hungarian who eats Japanese food very rarely, I am not so experienced using chopsticks, but I am clumsy with these Shinkansen chopsticks (I have 2 pairs) than the regular wooden ones. Maybe because Shinkansen versions are too round. But of course I prefer more the train formed chopsticks. :) 1 Link to comment
