You can see Ferromex all the way into Canada. Mostly on UP rails with UP locos. UP owns 30% of Ferromex. Next is to pack them with cars hecho in Mexico. cteno4 Posted June 21, 2014 Share Posted June 21, 2014 My TOMIX 98925 - N700-8000 Sanyo/Kyushu Shinkansen (Kumamon & Kurochan) showed up from modeltrainplus. Forgotten preorder from last winter! Fun painted Shinkansen and the Tomis n700 is such a great runner (16 car ran for a long time last show with a wheel set that fell out and it never derailed, but the following train promptly found the lost wheel set and derailed on it!) question is can you have too many Shinkansens? Nariichi also popped in a great poster on the forthcoming greenmax plasser and theurer mow cars I'm drooling over! Thanks for the treat! Jeff 2 Link to comment
IST Posted June 21, 2014 Share Posted June 21, 2014 When I read here that JR500 のぞみ will replace his Kato Shinkansens to Tomix one I had the feeling that I have to support him in this project, so I bought his 8 cars Kato E4 Max and 6 cars Kato E5. I'm loving the V12 set but it really does need a lot of room, I just managed to get it into my running space of the lounge floor. Link to comment

NuclearErick Posted June 26, 2014 Share Posted June 26, 2014 *Why wasn't there a Sayonara/ Arigato E1, or Sayonara/ Arigato 400 series?* Maybe because JR East didnt place any Decal or Stickers or something in the trains like Last Run or Arigato in the E1系 or 400系 04/18/2010 400系 09/28/2012 E1系 But Tomix did a Last Run or Arigato in the: 92963 Set さよなら 0系ひかり 12/14/2008 0 系 no stickers or special paint in that Set but is the 0系 you know the the first one Shinkansen Ever Fresh Green Theme for 0系 as well 03/16/2012 100 系 in the same day the 300 系 did retire but once again no Stickers or Paint however Tomix made a Set 92987 Revival K witch it is the same of the Last Run but before that was the Fresh Green Color before re-paint with the old paint theme blue with thiny stripe below Fresh Green Theme dont forget the Last Run Set the 92929 G47 in the Tokaido Shinkansen 09/16/2003 100系 02/28/2008 500 系 retire from the Nozomi service, no decal or stickers but you have the Sayonara Set 92968 W1 i didnt know that the criteria to choose that to build or maybe sales to make one of those Sets little inconstant or uncertain Nice! I found a buyer for a brass locomotive I was selling, and I'm taking advantage of the hobby budget windfall. Still waiting for some small bridge rectifiers so I can convert the DCC track power to DC to light some passenger cars. A saw any number of these coaches knocking around Tokyo, so wanted to get hold of one. These are not easy to find any more, and seem to command extortionate prices on Fleabay. Lucky enough they had this lying around: Two more centre cars for a Keikyu 1000 (or related). These will form the two extra cars I needed for my Chiba Express 1000 type. I already have the two cab cars lying around, but I needed the extra two cars to make up a 4-car formation. The perfect train to add to my 1991~1992 Keisei collection. Link to comment
