The classic omu-rice for dinner. I'm a bit wary of chicken, twice I've had it at Gasuto and it's made be feel unwell. The first time was really bad. This time however it was great.

Tawaramachi station. I have loved the look of this clock for years. It's an LED matrix, but only displays those numbers so most of the LEDs are unused. I built a similar one at home, I'll have to dig out the photos.

The new full colour LED signs. I think eventually those will be gone too, replaced by LCD ones.

I wish I could find out what happened to the old signs. Or where to buy the same panels. Well, I got a couple years ago from Aitendo.

I've been trying to fill in some blanks for railway-stations.org, whose goal is to photograph every station.

Some are hard to photograph because they are inside other buildings, often shopping centres.

One of the things I love about MSX computers is that because there were so many different manufacturers they were all trying to differentiate themselves, leading to some really great designs. No beige boxes, lots of bright colours and little extra features like additional LEDs and sound chips.

A rare Famicom BASIC cassette mechanism. I'm actually looking for a decent little one for computer use, but they aren't cheap. All the belts are gone by now so need replacing. You can use a modern Bluetooth device instead though so it's low priority.

Interesting signal. It shows green, amber, and red, but if you look it is made up of a bi-colour LED matrix panel. Must be cheaper I guess, unless it occasionally shows other things.
