serotta1972
That looks awesome! Im waiting for mine, I've not got my notice yet for my pre-orders because there's still a few still not in stock for this month. Is this the same train in your train travel pictures? 1 Link to comment
Suica
Yup, that's the one! Unit D22. And the Tomix model even comes with the appropriate numbering sheet, which is great. Link to comment
Densha
I found these trains to be surprisingly comfortable. JR West really knows how to keep their old trains running. The livery is also nice. Edited March 29, 2017 by Densha 2 Link to comment
enodenlover
Today I ordered the Diotown corner shop with traditional eaves 23-453 and the Tomix wooden station 4002, both off of eBay. That station looks a bit toylike out of the box but with some paint and a few detail items it should make a pretty decent model. Bob Link to comment

I'm modifying mine bit by bit, currently looks like this: inaka-station-tram by Rail Squid, on Flickr Still needs lighting and interior detail. 4 Link to comment

enodenlover
Two packages showed up today, the first one containing a Tomix two-track engine house and in the other the out of production Tomytec "Apollo" gas station that I stumbled upon on eBay the other day. Bob Link to comment
cteno4
Nice new straight edge/ruler combo with finger guard. Laser etched markings and ressesed grip pad on the bottom. Great quality and features for $10 and perfect for modeling tasks. Reviewed here http://www.jnsforum.com/community/topic/12831-nice-cutting-straight-edge-and-ruler/ Cheers Jeff 1 Link to comment

locidm
This came last week. Quite fun to drive. I'm still getting a hang on it. Interesting to find out that each train has a different starting voltage. I'm working to figure out how to best incorporate it into my layout's control scheme. 8 Link to comment
ToniBabelony
Today I visited the award ceremony for the Art Factory Layout Award 2017, but didn't win one of the prices. I didn't anticipate one, but I did receive a little complimentary container kit from World Kogei (UM9A). I think these will work out well for little storage rooms somewhere in a backyard on a layout. 2 Link to comment
railsquid
A bit modern for my tastes, but on the "get one if one pops up at the right price list" and one duly did in Tam Tam Akihabara's bargain cabinet. modemo-toden-8800-tram by Rail Squid, on Flickr I still haven't seen one in real life... 4 Link to comment

JR 500系
I got delivered something too, but it's not a train model. It is something that made me happy too as I was looking for it for a really long time... railsquid
These modemo trams seem to be selling quite well so it's interesting to see them in the bargains bin... No idea what the reason is there, they had a bunch of Modemo stuff. Anyway a very good little runner, even with front and rear directional lighting which I wasn't expecting, a little noisy but nothing out of the ordinary. Link to comment

Now I am totally jealous. :) I would like to buy this game also, but not for around 100 USD. When you finished it and are bored while playing, please put this one also to the "Classifieds - For Sale and Trade" topic. Or let me know first. 1 Link to comment
Drunkenclam
Picked this up from the Parcelforce depot today. Which meant. More customs charges and PF admin fee. :( I already had the conversion parts here waiting. Just want to replace those arnold couplings for something with a bit more style :D 4 Link to comment
nah00
Some things I've gotten over the last few weeks, 2 trucks from Cteno4, another Girls und Panzer bus (I didn't realize it's basically the same as the first), and a car collection set from eBay with the best police car ever. 3 Link to comment
