LED strip available PCB width with 2.5mm, 3mm, and 5mm.  Those narrower LED strips are very easy to install like station platform roof.

I will later list standard 8mm strip as well.

Great to finally meet up with Nariichi today and pick up my Hibike Euphonium 600 Series that I had on pre order as well as a few other bits and pieces, after seeing what is coming up in the Kato catalogue I could be tempted to get into modelling the RhB in N Scale.

He is also a pretty funny guy with a good sense of humour, I got to spend a fair bit of time in the store as my wife and daughters went wandering off looking at the local shops, it gave my son time to sneak in a run of his Easti on the store layout while Nariichi and I talked about a variety of things.

Nariichi-san - is it possible to request DHL not be used for my orders? I have had several very poor experiences with DHL locally.

If you use SAL or EMS, it depends on which shipping company handles international packets for your country (e.g., in Germany all international packets are handled by DHL no matter what). As far as I know, this cannot be changed by the sender.

In the case of the US, SAL and EMS are handled by the post office.

DHL left the us market for local delivery a number of years ago so it usualyl arrives by ups or fedex for the local delivery. This handoff may result in issues for ken. It's worked well here in D.C., but they may still have some of their own local delivery here as I think they have a big presence for international shipping here in the area. German post bought DHL a long time back.so why it all goes DHL there!

 

It's funny as DHL started in the us, but made it big internationally, bought by German post then tried to compete locally in us but that flopped. I use to use them as I used airborne and DHL bought them. Service was better than fedex and ups and prices much lower for a little guy.

Is it possible to downgrade from ePacket to Unregistered SAL?

Yes if you have ordered in the past with mtp Nariichi will let you do regular unregistered sal. Of course no tracking, insurance, etc so at your risk. But since I trust Nariichi implicitly and he is super careful with shipping I do most of my orders with him unregister sal and never an issue. You need to email him after the order is placed. With larger orders I don't bother sometimes though...
