gavino200
An add on set for my Tomix camera train. I can now run two Japanese subway/commuter trains together for the first time. I love it. Edited February 20, 2019 by gavino200 7 Link to comment

Welshbloke
Latest Hobbysearch delivery arrived: Two Casco cases in orange for the rest of my B Train Shorties and the KiHas, some GreenMax masts which need painting and a bit of snow paint at the bases, and the Arii/Micro Ace OHaNeFu 25 kit in HO which is going to be a bit more work than expected. The wheels are terrible and the bogies aren't much better! I'll take some photos and make a thread over in the other scales section. As the HO kits are going to be a pain, I'm leaning towards more Shorties. Particularly Kintetsu ones, which is why I plan to order the red/cream and blue/white 15200 Series units next month along with a couple of motors. I have spare trailer chassis waiting for them. 7 Link to comment

This time from MicroAce 🙂 That's what my 103 Shorty will most probably end: Junior complained that we already have a yellow one. He'd rather have blues or greens, but thos colours don't get together that well with red oxide primer. So orange it will be... 1 Link to comment
shadowtiger25
My first N-Scale! Yay, a new rabbit hole to dive in to!!! Kato's 2017 C62-2 and C62-3 hokaido and the Nesiko express basic and expansion pack I plan on installing DCC in the locos, which will be a night mare, but I know I guy that will do it for me. Also, I'm going to attempt to put sound in them not sure if I want the KumaTa Loksound decoder (https://kmt.co.jp/), or the Cross Head Sound Studio Zemo Decoder (http://uen.co.jp/crosshead/index.html) Both are great sounding decoders, small space. a Edited February 22, 2019 by shadowtiger25 11 Link to comment

Kiha66
Seems like a good plan! Thats how I seem to be leaning, I'll remain a primarily N modeler but have a few HO models to run at a local club. Link to comment
chadbag
I am anti social and don't do clubs. It's cheaper that way 🙂 3 Link to comment

Only took 5 years to find a new set. And it cannot run. Grrr! Mr Hobbysearch offered me 8820 points as compensation, since it is an old product with little chance of repair/fix. Happy with that. Since I have a Maya35, the JRK DE10 set and the Phoenix bus set coming this month. Those points will come in handy. Edited February 26, 2019 by katoftw 3 Link to comment
JR 500系
A little parcel showed up from HS, from the recent sales... I know, the E233-2000 isn't exactly at a very nice price point, but I am actually very glad I got it. It turned out to be much nicer than I thought it would be! Those head lights really make it stand out even though it is just another E233 series... I'm so happy with it I guess I might plunge into the 6-car add-on if I see it at a nice price! 🙂 The Popondetta lights are interesting too... After watching the youtube video of them, I guess I just have to try them out myself! 🙂 4 Link to comment

Is there any chance you could take a close up picture of the electronics in the popondetta LEDs and post it in the "lighting trains" thread. Link to comment
Tanuki
My 783 Hyper Ariake from Hobby Search arrived in good time. I rode this train (although designated just “Ariake” at the time) from Hakata to Kamikumamoto with my family on the eve of my wedding day in 1993. 6 Link to comment
gavino200
Some Tomytec goodies. These will stay in their boxes until I get my new layout set up. Still always nice to get a little packet in the mail. 7 Link to comment
