Fenway Park
C62 Sanyo Line arrived from HS, I know they did not operate in Kyushu but it's a great loco. Revolution Factory C11 numberplates ordered from HS. Will provide better plates for the Tramway C11s. 1 Link to comment
Kamome
Well the Sanyo C62s would pull the Kamome service to Shimonoseki. It's pretty close so we'll let you off. Link to comment
Yavianice
Got some lights today! I was a bit skeptical at first if it would be easy to install them, but it turns out to be very easy! And it also solved my TOMIX E3-2000 derailment problem. 6 Link to comment
cteno4
What was the solution? Always curious for more data on things like this! jeff Link to comment

Always curious for more data on things like this! jeff The additional weight of the interior lighting avoids the derailment of my Tohoku Treasureland E3-2000 (when pushed, in both corners and switches). I think because TOMIX placed the engine in car 11 (the front car), the lighter cars derail easier. Interesting too, because the TOMIX E3-2000 are not really 'light' cars, like the KATO version. I am very relieved that the problem went away with adding the interior lighting, because otherwise I would have had to cancel my GENBI order which probably has the same problem (as it is the same train/setup). P.S.: I have KATO Unitrack. Edited August 27, 2017 by Yavianice Link to comment
Kiha66
Won a kato EH10 through buyee, can't wait to see it pulling the Takara container express. Just have to switch out the couplers first to something a little more realistic. 9 Link to comment
lighthouse
I need this loco too :-) But i have no chance to get it this summer Link to comment
Kamome
I'm surprised Kato haven't re-run the EH10. I too have been after one for a while but the prices on ebay have been ridiculous in the UK. Now I live in Japan, I'll see if I can track down a used one somewhere. Link to comment
Kiha66
I actually have been stalking Yahoo auctions for a while for this guy. While the latest release is still from 2003, it actually has amazing detail and more add-on parts then I've seen of any other locomotive. It was only $60 like new, with all the parts already applied. Just make sure you get kato 3005-1, not 3005 as is the 1980s release with out the detail parts. Link to comment
SubwayHypes
Got my Microace Tobu 20000 series today! Love this train, even has the bright green interiors I remember riding in as a kid! 5 Link to comment
beakaboy
My items from the sale at Hobby search finally arrived yesterday (21 days) The longest its taken since I have been ordering from Japan. Usually SAL small pcl has been around 10-14 days. My Kato C12 steamer which arrived last week from Hobbysearch took 16 days, so I guess I should have been prepared for a delay. 4 Link to comment
nah00
Not so much in the post but while shipping an order I caved and bought the 381 Series 'Super Yakumo' and a Nagoya Railroad Type 8800 which appeared out of the ether apparently and I couldn't resist. Are the front lights on it supposed to have greenish tint? Can't find any mention of that on the prototype. Also the Super Yakumo is out of area for me but with a paint scheme like that I can't say no. 6 Link to comment
JR 500系
Having been updating this thread for a while due to the huge work load and moving house phase, and finally got time to unpack the boxes that have been appearing... First up, some new buses, the cement trucks, a Kato yard building set that is on sale, and the Kato 211-2000 Nagano color that is the best 211 I like ever! 7 Link to comment
nah00
That is a sharp looking train, Oito Line uses the same color scheme and it looks good on an E127 too. What Railroad Collection set is that? Link to comment
JR 500系
next up is a smaller box, containing the new Kato E127-100, the Kato HB E300 Hybird Resort Furusato and a really nice Hokutosei Emblem mug. Now I have a new mug to sip coffee with and dream i'm riding the train... Gotta love these 2-car resort trains! That Furusato looks great too! Let's hope Kato continues to make these, esp. the Buta! 9 Link to comment

What Railroad Collection set is that? Yes that 211-2000 is great for the matsumoto area, and is one of the trains I've ridden on which I kinda like... I already got the 3-car set from Tomix, but I reckon why not get the 6-car one too! Sharp eyes! That's the Tobu 8000-8570 series that's always in the bargains bin... http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=RAIL-22054&page=top%2Fsearch%2Flist%3Finc_txt2%3D12%24s_cate2%3D9604%24s_saleitem%3D1%24pagemax%3D40%24getcnt%3D0%24pagecnt%3D2 I always tent to add them into the order, cause they are going for cheap and I really like the Tobu 8000 series... JR 500系
next up, another parcel containing the recently released Tobu 50050 Shin-Chan colored! Lovely cute little yellow train with graphics everyone knows so well! Along together for the ride is the Kato E233-1000 series Keihin Tohoku, that I really wanted since i'm missing one of the other iconic Tokyo area commuter train.... *p.s. the new Ami Ami box is really lovely! 8 Link to comment
Kamome
Not so much an order but the post delivered today. All of my railway stuff that has been in shipping for 2 months for the relocation to Japan. I have to say that Kuroneko Yamato have been excellent, keeping us up to date with delivery and giving us an accurate delivering timescale. All boxes were impeccably clean and you'd never imagine that they'd even set foot near a ship, train or lorry. Happy to report that everything has arrived safely. Hopefully Mrs. Kamome didn't take too much notice of the insurance value on the documentation. Id like to say that all of these boxes were railway related but only 8 out of 23 were my n gauge stuff. 12 Link to comment
SubwayHypes
Love all the pics! the 211 is one of my favorite livery, theres an account on Instagram of a N scalers setup who runs almost exclusively those 211s, 233s all in that same Matsumodo color scheme. I'm looking for a 211 in the shonan Shinjuku colors for my Tokyo layout. Always love a good 233 series, I have the saikyo 233 in dark green currently in transit. 1 Link to comment
