This is the current interim status, unfortunately I can't do more (I only have time to prepare everything tomorrow morning and I still want to paint the wooden frames). but I think you can "feel" some Japanese flair

Today I was  show my modules in action  an in-house exhibition of my model railway dealer. The visitors were enthusiastic, even if not everything has been completed yet. Most of them didn't even know Japanese model railways The trains with their wonderful driving characteristics also caused amazement, since they were N and analogue. It's really a lot of fun to bring this great model railway theme home.

 

unfortunately I only made videos of the trains, so the pictures from it and are not very good.

 

 

 

 

 

By the Way, i was buy new layout material directly from the manufacturer Mininatur, now I can continue 😛 i

Yeah, same! These are self made, or bought cherry trees? How you made them, whats manufacturer?

I bought the cherry trees on ebay, I hope the link works: Cherry Tree ,There are different shops there - it is with wire. I then finishd it with the cherry blossoms from Kato.

 

This morning I put the parts back in their place, the dimensions are huge 😮 The trainyard and the station will also be set up so that I can continue to build them. lot of work....

the pictures from the summer party are now online, on the "Teil 1 and 5"  Sommerfest   🙂

This morning I started up my modules again after last week's exhibition. so the Sunrise Express was allowed to do its rounds from Kato. A test with two MicroAce DEKI500 and 20 freight wagons also went well.

Today I rearranged my modules again, played around with the light a bit and took photos. Thanks to DMX control, I can adjust the room lighting individually (the work lighting consists of LED tubes, the RGBW lighting consists of LED strips). So any color like day, sun, sunrise and sunset, night and disco - LOL - is possible.

Set tripod. Put camera to Bulb. f/stop as high as possible. Focus to main object...

... and SHOOT!

Hoping to see some of these shots with a much broader depth of field, making it harder to distinguish from reality.

 

We also need one of those Tomix camera trains to offer us a tour of the scenery. 😁

Better photos are coming soon 😉 my SLR camera is already waiting to be used 😄 I'm currently still waiting for a new tripod and tomorrow my new LED light tripods should come....

I still have a lot to do with an 8k video cam that is already available 🙂 😄

New Equipment: LED tripods that can be controlled via app and each color can be adjusted (incl. luminosity)

Patrick, those are some awesome photo lamps. So nice to be controllable from an app remotely. Getting a good temperature for the shot can be so critical to masking it pop!

Hello Guys 🙂

 

Months later (unfortunately I have to use the summer time to train driving a carriage) there is progress again 🙂

 

First i continued with the curve modules with the mountain ridges, here a lot of trees and plants were added. Did you spot the new roommates? 😄

 

It took me the last 7 days to design the small suburb, which has remained untouched since the last exhibition at the Modellbahn Pürner summer festival. The design of the two arched modules in this group of modules is also complete. Above all, a very, very large number of lamps and illuminated cars have been installed (there have also been more on the station modules 😮 ).

 

During the time when glue and paint had to dry elsewhere, I took care of 2 of the old corner modules: The Edo house corner finally got lamps (although the houses will also be illuminated later) and the tracks of both corner modules were color-matched to the new ones curve modules.

 

Last but not least I started to renew my first track module after more than 10 years: this got new gravel and the grass fibers were also renewed.

the narrow-gauge expo is over and i was able to take some pictures again (i made more videos which i have to cut together for a longer clip).
