railsquid Posted May 3, 2022 Author Share Posted May 3, 2022 (edited) Today we perform a long-overdue experiment in expanding provision of invisible overhead wiring so that pantographs are not waving about uselessly in the air: catenary-mast-2022-05-03_02 by Rail Squid, on Flickr Specifically the catenary masts need to be mounted in such a way that they are easily removable; the experiment involves 5mm plastic tubing with holes drilled in the centre to accept the poles: catenary-mast-2022-05-03_01 by Rail Squid, on Flickr Seems to work quite well.
