Philphil
So, um, (Paul, I know you won't be happy about this) the USPS seems to have lost my package containing the only Airbus aircraft I have on order. 😧 The package contained an Air Hong Kong/DHL Airbus A300-600F, which, fittingly, was coming over from Hong Kong. It disappeared at the San Francisco ISC earlier in the week, and that was it... I'm actually disappointed, since this was really hard to find, and it was my favorite out of the planes I had on order... Just, darn. 😢 Maybe it's time to give up on buying things? 1 Link to comment

BUT STILL, THE HUNT CONTINUES! Cathay Pacific has quite a few, I flew with them via Hong Kong to Singapore recently, pretty sure all 4 legs were Airbus. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cathay_Pacific_fleet 2 Link to comment

Paul, you were right! I was scared to death that it was gone, like one of my larger Buyee packages from earlier in the year. But of course, half an hour after I submitted a missing mail search request, the darn package turns up in my town! Guess we will have an Airbus on the layout after all! 1 Link to comment

Philphil
Well, the big day is finally here, @Pauljag900, the Airbus A300 has finally arrived! Along with yet another Boeing, this time an All Nippon Airways 777-200 which is painted in the C-3PO Star Wars livery. I've also expanded the airport area, since I ran out of open space to put aircraft. Hopefully I can make a small update about that later in the week. 4 Link to comment

If you're still looking for light, plastic aircraft, I'd have to recommend going with Hogan 1/200 scale models. They've got a lot of the detail of their heavy, metal counterparts at much less cost, and they've got a pretty good selection too, lots of Airbus models! Just my two cents though, haha. Philphil
Alright, so I ripped out the extra 1" of foam on what used to be the airport extensions. I decided that I'd rather have more room to run trains, and jam in and jam in am extra scene, rather than have big airplanes taking over like a third of the layout. Nothing else too exciting yet, except I'll be putting the lower level of foam and supports back in so I can get the Tokyo Metro subway loop operating again. After that, well who knows what could happen, haha! Hopefully my next update is a little more exciting. 1 Link to comment
Philphil
ACTUALLY WAIT, I DO KNOW WHAT I HAVE TO DO! I need to get another four cars for my 211-series set in order to replace the older Kato cars which aren't lighted and have the grey underframe. Especially since I finally got the 15-car set up and running! 4 Link to comment
