That Izukyu 200 series Bagatelle train is so tempting, looks great with the graphics on its side!

Hobby search listed a release in May...not mentioning what year...

I like the looking.

Hopefully at that price it would be a high quality model.

Must get one of the 08s.  The standard tokyo metro one i guess is the one to get, though the throwback Eidan logo looks cool.

The Tokyo Metro logo in general isn't bad but the Eidan logo is so iconic I think maybe they might want to consider a switch back to it...

I wonder if these are the same versions of the plows that came with the D51 and 9600 steam locomotives, just sold individually now.

I note that the snow clearing equipment is painted back, so am I correct in assuming it was used during the late steam era? Also where in Japan did the equipment operate?

Krackel hopper,

 

it does indeed look like the plows from the early set that included the steam locos. you can round out your collection! At the time i though spending a little over $200 for the plows and engines a bit much but im very glad i did it!

What's the black MOW piece in the middle of the poster?

 

The DMU set in primary colors reminds me of the E130, which I just discovered yesterday, except they haven't left any unpainted stainless steel.

I had just decided that KiMaRoKi meant "young woman in bikini", when I found these images.

 

It looks to me that it was designed to follow a rotary plow as a flanger.

The whole set is very nice and the rotary plow is motorized and spins! The flanger's flanges are all functional as well. Nice they are bringing the plows back for the mow fans (krackel).

Oh I want that JR Shikoku colour KiHa 54! But the price is just too much... I'll just patiently wait for Tomytec to release one. Now that Tomytec is going to release the Hokkaido KiHa 54-500, I think it's just a matter of time before they make the Shikoku one also.

Oh wow, that catalogue number on the Keisei 1000! A0074! That was probably planned more than a decade ago, to go with the Hokuso 7150 and other Keikyū 1000 types. This was a train I wanted to make for a while for myself, by actually modding a MicroAce Keisei 1000 type (and then making it into the Chiba Express version)... However, seeing that price tag, which is more than DOUBLE of the previous Keisei 1000 type! Insanity! It is however a very desireable train for early 90s Keisei fans like me...

@Toni Guess it's like a good whisky. The longer it's aged, the more expensive it gets. :grin

I'm a bit hesitant to pay that much for a MicroAce model though.

I am actually glad MA are making models that I am currently not very interested in.  :)  The soaring prices will definitely impact my decision to get a set if it is something I like ~~ MA prices are seriously high with each release...

If this train were whiskey, this'd be a Torys Black with a too high pricetag. If MA is desperate enough, they'll eventually release a Chiba Express 1000 type version, which is a four-car train which I'd actually consider buying. ;)
