It's not formal, but considering they will be standing after a passing train (they are outside of the loading gauge), that's a good place to stand between when caught on the tracks by multiple trains. Wish someone would come out with a couple of these,made tailed etched brass kit would be cool! Guess not too hard to kitbash from a Tomytec... Motorizing, well...
