scotspensioner
Wonderfully I had a stroke of luck this morning and I was able to find the programme I saw the bus on.It was uploaded by Hintel as programme 46 on 4 march 2016.Its about 3\4 in (I'd say about 45 minutes)It's at a station where the train. Stops. It has a London Bus poster on the side and the paintwork is peeling off The journey terminated at AO station and there's a marker for Kobe Dientetsu As I say the rest is in Japanese script Hope this is of use Alex Link to comment

Rod.H
Thanks, yep Spell check can be more of a hindrance at times =p Found it! It's in a probable used car lot or car park near Hirono Golf-jō-mae Station https://www.google.com.au/maps/@34.7713597,135.0228094,3a,90y,58.7h,83.68t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1shYmGo_eoN6qd2cn7rDNAgQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 2 Link to comment
scotspensioner
Wonderbolt Great. That fits in but I couldn't tell you the name of the place! Alex Link to comment
scotspensioner
Wonderbolt I did a wee bit of research.Hirono Golf-jo-mae is a reference to a very upmarket golf club which was opened in 1932 and laid out by a British golf course designer. Its rated among the top 100 worldwide. Muirfield golf course is just 8 miles from here and is also rated top notch - even Ronnie Corbett couldn't join there even though he had a house next door to it!! A very posh place! 1 Link to comment
Drunkenclam
My Tama Densha arrived today from my man in Japan. Good and fast, But I wished he would use a bit more packaging for safety. I didn't realize there is nothing to infill the gap between cars. As per link to Hobbysearch. Any thoughts to improve the look would be greatly appreciated. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10266478/20/5# Also in the same packet was my first Dragonball anime cel. A bizarre one of Bulma. But she has her bunny ears and it was only 500 yen extra. SO not a great cost 4 Link to comment

scotspensioner
I think you're right. But I would say it's been there for a long time. A big thanks to Rod H for locating it on Street view. I'm only a humble novice at these things Alex Link to comment
Rod.H
It helped that the video -once I found the correct one- had a caption on each station arrival and departure which I matched on the wiki page and from there: streetview. And to bring this back to topic, a recent arrival for me is a collapsible box decorated in the style of a 19D container and I'm expecting at some point a Kato DE10 & some more Tomix track. That'd help my noodling some, but I really should finalise that concept soonish thanks to the Australian Government listening to a wealthy lobbyist making ordering items from overseas potentially more troublesome then HMCS does for the UK. scotspensioner
Rod H Once again my thanks. I have a relative with Australian connections who's a golf fanatic. She wondered if I shouldn't be in the police CID! I've given up on some stuff I enquired about from a British source months ago! adrianKeith
https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/v497966554 I don't even have any tracks yet, but I'm wanting to collect the konbini :) First, Lawson. Then hopefully the 7-11 and FamilyMart stores shortly. -- I'm also wanting to collect the corresponding diecast car (separately, since it would probably look weird next to N-Gauge stuff). JR 500系
A small pre-order came in from Ami, along with some other items that were in the bargains bin... Good thing with Ami, there is always the bargains bin around, so anytime when you pre-order is up for payment and shipping you can easily add them in to save on shipping! :) Ami postcard as usual ~ ami doesn't do much protection like the other hobby suppliers though... Just a few items, and... That 787 series ! That's something strange about this train... you don't like it at first glance, but as you like more you tend to love it more and more! 5 Link to comment
ATShinkansen
Recently arrived: Kato Chuo E233 Set of Kato station decals (because the platform set does not include enough yellow/white dash striping to line both sides of the platform!) JR 500系
Buyee is addictive... and here's more proof... I needed to reinforce JR Kyushu, especially so when I just stepped into the island with the 800 series and the 787, 783 series... It's a huge box, but a lot of air... appreciate the protection though... 4 separate parcels in one... First up, the largest box: Appreciate these pamphlets that are used as protection... good to read and nice to find out about the standard of living in japan; i.e. groceries cost, car costs, furniture costs etc... I love how Japanese people wrap up their items... really nice and thoughtful... The Kiha-72 Yufuin no mori! I have aimed for this set for a long time, but couldn't bear to pay so much for it and also it is JR Kyushu... now that we have started, this train is a must-have... While it is listed as a 'junk' set, I just tested it and it works great, runs fine lights are great just a little noisy... Happy with it for what I got it at! :) Next is a little 'parcel' It's actually a small shopping bag, the type one will get when they buy something from the departmental store! Good packaging as always! Do all Japanese go through wrapping lessons or something? :P Another beautiful JR Kyushu train, the Kiha-200 Nanohana! I know it's a older set, but the price justifies this~~ It's so pretty in its shiny bright yellow! Next is another small parcel: Lots of care taken into packing this... 3 layers of protection! The external box is missing on this one, but I really just wanted the train... Luckily for me, Greenmax just announced the re-release of their 2-car VHS cases which is just on time and great timing! Another Kiha-200 'Akai Kaisoku' or Red Rapid... Nice brilliant Red! The older Greenmax models like this one had their motors done by Tomix, which makes it a very good runner ~ And one last small parcel: Nice of them to put what is inside written on the outside! Great packaging as usual... it's the same seller as the Akai Kaisoku, but I don't know why they didn't ship it together... Another Kiha-200, this time in blue, the Seaside Liner (SSL)... I have very fond memories of this train having ridden on it on my way to Huis Ten Bosch April 2015.... The brilliant colours of these Kiha-200 are really nice, in their bright Red, Yellow and Blue... Now I just hope to get one in Huis Ten Bosch colour and the Kiha-220 series... The older Greenmax models are strange with their casing, but still runs great and lights up fine, and I wont complain for what I am getting them at a fraction of the cost for a new Greenmax model... Guess we're officially in JR Kyushu now! Now the daunting task of finding those tourist trains like Aso Boy and Ibusuki no Tamatebako.... Edited May 4, 2017 by JR 500系 8 Link to comment
katoftw
Nice haul there. Those older kiha 72 sets started going cheap when the 5 car version was released. Edited May 4, 2017 by katoftw Link to comment
