cteno4 Posted August 24, 2014 Share Posted August 24, 2014 Vatato, You can usually order parts like this thru kato USA if you have the instruction sheet. They want you to fax them the part sheet with the part you want circled. Can take 1-3 months to get it from Japan then like $8 for shipping to you and retail part price. At times kato USA can be a little cranky about ordering kato Japan parts. Also might check with modeltrainplus or loco1hobby about getting the part as well. Cheers Jeff Link to comment
nscalestation Posted August 31, 2014 Share Posted August 31, 2014 Kato uses the same motor in just about all of their models, Japanese and American prototype. The only difference being the flywheels. I you can remove / re-install the flywheels, you should be able to use a motor meant for any Kato model for the N700. Link to comment
