If they bring one out in JR Tokai livery I will definitely get one, I am normally a whore for Per Way machinery and I already have the tamper but I am not really keen on the stock standard yellow version. 1 Link to comment

Surprisingly I've ordered this... I reckon I needed a maintenance vehicle, and this fits in the bill perfectly, a ballast machine, looks very professional, common yellow for maintenance vehicles, come with motor, directional lights, interior lightings pre-installed, why not? :P 2 Link to comment

ToniBabelony
I saw it pass by on several outlets today! I'm quite excited to finally see the Aizu and Yagan versions as well. However, I do need double pantograph versions still... Link to comment

Densha
I don't know why one would bother getting the Greenmax Keikyu 2100 when there's a Kato version available. The Kotoden trains are a bit of a surprise, but just way too expensive compared to their Tomytec counterparts. Link to comment
katoftw
Maybe the extra expense for a better motor and running ability, better details and actual directional lighting on the ends is worth it to some. 2 Link to comment
ToniBabelony
If anything, Greenmax have saved their hides with the new motor. This motor is IMO vastly superior to anything the other manufacturers have in their range for commuter trains at the moment. Especially compared with Tomytec, the Greenmax models are worth the extra expense. I'm not too sure about the Keikyu 2100 either, but there must be a hardcore following that will buy them anyway to rake a profit for Greenmax. Link to comment

JR 500系
I found this on HS website: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10495188/30/1 seems like a new item from Greenmax... platform screen doors! Will need more information and some pictures to see how they look and work... will they be able to fit on Tomix or Kato ones? Link to comment
katoftw
Looks like it has little tabs on the bottom. So you'll most likely need to drill a hole into the platforms to fit the walls. Link to comment

I think it's a nice idea to have the screen doors, but I do hope I don't need to drill holes on the nice platforms... it adds a really nice realistic feel to the platforms! Kiha66
I suppose you could always snip off the pins and just glue them to the surface. It'll be neat to see the clear doors, although I feel that on the full scale they are kinda ruining the classic feeling of being on a platform. Link to comment
