Martijn Meerts
So, my brother mentioned this game on Facebook called Trainstation .. It's a very standard Facebook game with the general game mechanics being the same as stuff like farmville etc. Now, normally I don't like those kinda games, but being called Trainstation, this one obviously has trains in it. Even better, it has Japanese trains in it. The train graphics are also pretty well done, quite a bit of time spent in it. I'm certain it'll get boring after not too long, but have to say, it's somewhat enjoyable for now :) Link to comment

Guest ___
IDK, I've been let down by a few FB games recently, train related. This better not be another boner, or else I'm going to take a nap. Link to comment
Martijn Meerts
It has a fresh green 0 series, a dd51, eh500, and some others.. Even noticed a d51 in there, as well as a painted 500 series cab car ;) In the end though, like all games (be they Facebook or not), it's a waste of time :) Link to comment
Guest ___
They've added a lot to it since I last played it back in March. Link to comment
Martijn Meerts
I've already seen a 500 series pop up, as well as a double dd51 in euroliner livery. Right now, the "specials" include an E4 Max, but I'm nowhere near the level required for it unfortunately :) Oh, they'll be adding the E5 with the next update :) Probably not going to be prototypical length though, considering so far, none of the shinkansen are prototypical length :) Link to comment
Martijn Meerts
Wow, lots of Japanese stuff in train station today.. E6 and a double header D51.. Most interesting is that it looks like they used an N-scale model as example for the D51's, as you can see what seems to be a motor inside the cab =) Link to comment
Guest ___
If anyone cares, I did add a FB page of Japanese Trains, but am too busy to populate it. Feel free to. Link to comment

RS18U
So I realize this is like from some years ago, but I was wondering about the Facebook page. Is this it? I am not a big FB user, generally only posting while on on trips, but this popped up so I joined last week. And promptly got hit with a Messenger message request from someone who had only been a member for a few hours. Of course I had responded to a post they made about books, and pasted the link to the forum for the English language publications as I thought it would be useful. So is this an actual FB page associated with this forum, or something else? Looks like lots of neat stuff on it. Link to comment
cteno4
I’m not sure. It was set up years ago and managed by one of the members, it I have no idea if it’s been kept up or of that’s the actual page or a clone set up to scam. I’m off Facebook for a long one now so not in the loop at all on it. @Davo Dentetsu I believe set up the JNS Facebook page. Perhaps he can chime in and let us know it’s current status. we basically wanted to have a prescience there to advertise JNS there but we were not looking for it to be an active place to flow content, but link to JNS content like you did to folks on fb that may ask questions. cheers jeff Link to comment
bill937ca
Two JNS FB pages come up. One for model trains and one for prototype Japanese trains. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2155240028026401 https://www.facebook.com/groups/436717366798923 Link to comment
