Das Steinkopf Posted December 15, 2017 Share Posted December 15, 2017 I find it rather odd that Tomytec has chosen to do a 213-5000 Series, I know that it fits in well with their typical two car mantra but MicroAce is already bringing out a proper working model, I have a MicroAce unit on pre order that will join my contemporyary Iidasen fleet but I may also get a Tomytec version to use as a static unit that will sit in the stabling yard. Indeed ~ Exactly why I got a few more to 'park' at the yard ~ anyway they are not expensive if you don't motorize them, or you can also add in one motor in them and drag the whole consist along! I already have the older MA 213-5000 and intend to do that ~ :) Link to comment

That BBB is a sure hit! and they were smart enough to release those bicycles that were all discontinued again just to compliment the BBB! Love those DHL trucks... DHL is just a big brand anyone can catch them sitting in the layout! There's also a re-release of the Odakyu 4000 which I am just waiting for ~~ sweet! Link to comment

I wasn't particularly pleased with that either especially since given the extra detail on these I would feel much better if they were in soft foam instead of something that has no give. katoftw Posted January 28, 2018 Share Posted January 28, 2018 The Kesei freight set they did a few years back had polysteyene also. I brought the Tomix 12 car container case and used the insert from that. Then brought a Casco 12 16-20m car insert for my Tomytecs. Link to comment
