VJM
Thankyou Tomix.... Percy and James sets to come in May will go very nicely with Thomas. http://www.tomytec.co.jp/tomix/products/kettei/pdf/20170208-4.pdf Link to comment
Das Steinkopf
Looks like JRF fans are getting a treat with a DE10-1000/1500 in the earlier JRF livery as well as another Koki 107 to accompany the Koki 107 with Taillights, luckily the Koki 107 with taillights includes the decal sheet with 10 different road numbers as it is numbered 107-383 which has been used before in the EF210-100 Basic Set 92491. http://www.tomytec.co.jp/tomix/products/kettei/pdf/20170208-3.pdf 1 Link to comment
katoftw
Interesting they would bring out two Kokis with the same numbers. Especially since both sets are/will be readily available. I'm not even sure I want any of those 107s. Lights aren't my thing since I don't model Hokkaido. And to be honest, I have so many 107s, one or two more is just overkill. I even just sold of 10 as I thought 22 was too many. I wish a larger range of 104s and 106s in both blue and grey would be re-released. As that is what you see all over Japan. I am with you on that one in that there needs to be more Koki 104's and 106's especially in Blue, those two classes do form a large proportion of the JRF fleet and it would be nice to seem them represented more. Lets hope that Kato does a better job with the new Koki 104 2 car set 10-1421, I had read that they were painting it in a more appropriate shade of blue that matches the prototype compared to the pale blue of the previous sets, that said if they don't resolve basic detail issues like fitting the steps to it they are wasting their time. nah00
Honestly I'd like to see some more Kokis with containers, especially 40 foot ones or ISO containers. Also not going to buy the DE-10 not going to buy the DE-10 not going to buy the DE-10.... ....that didn't work. 2 Link to comment

Das Steinkopf
Nice to see that freight fans are getting a bit of a treat with more Taki's this time in Japan Oil Terminals livery as well as a new Koki 106, to top it off it comes with a UV51A container in Kuronekoyamato livery. http://www.tomytec.co.jp/tomix/products/kettei/pdf/20170308-3.pdf Edited March 8, 2017 by Das Steinkopf Link to comment

nah00
I wished for a Yamto Transport container that I didn't have to decal myself and Tomix delivers. Also re-releases of the dump truck and cement truck vehicle sets, hopefully the fire engines aren't far behind. Also I don't need to order more Takis Tomix, stop tempting me. Alas, I gave in....... katoftw
Cheeky by Tomix. You have to get the Koki 106 also if you want the Yamato container. Link to comment
nah00
The way I look at it is that if Popondetta or Hogarakaou made the containers they'd be at least 1600 yen so for another 600 I get a bonus Koki-106. I do hope they'll release the Yamato containers separately at some point or make a truck collection of Yamato trucks. Link to comment
Das Steinkopf
It would have been nice if it was one of the earlier variants of the Koki 106 in Blue as there is a bit of a lack model wise in that livery, mind you there were only 404 out of a fleet of 1162 wagons painted in that colour before they switched to grey, that said this model has got the added detail of the handbrake indicator which has not been seen before on previous releases. The photos in the links below show the location of the indicator and what it looks like in operation. https://ja.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/JR貨物コキ100系貨車#/media/ファイル%3AKoki106-1100.jpg https://ja.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/JR貨物コキ100系貨車#/media/ファイル%3AJRF-Koki106-1100.jpg Link to comment

ToniBabelony
Wow. That's a massive list. Luckily nothing for me there! That pro-wrestling bus is hilarious though! Then again, perhaps the school children in summer uniform are a nice thing to have for a layout scene... Need to get more humans anyway... :P Link to comment

kvp
I'll have to get a bunch of these: Tokyo Transportation Bureau 7000 series And at least one set of this: Eidan Subway Ginza Line 2053 Formation (6-Car Set) (also it has one 1300 series car in it, so i really hope Tomix releases a full 1000 series train in the future) Link to comment
railsquid
Ah yes, I missed out on the last Ginza line release and they seem impossible to find (at least at a sane price). Link to comment
