Thanks Bikkuri, very enjoyable.  I found myself wondering, what year is that?  There was a JR West commercial which I thought was going to be for the 300 series shinkansen itself, but it was from 1992 for the introduction of the Hikari service.  Kinda based on the style, I was guessing it was a few years later.  But the late Showa commercials are the best right?  🙂
