lighthouse
Out of boredom I put together a fictional SL train - SL C62 with ED76-522 🤣 Would be a great train today between Otaru and Asahikawa  Edited January 5, 2022 by lighthouse 7 Link to comment

disturbman
@serotta1972, I have missed these running sessions of yours. Link to comment
serotta1972
I hope to have more frequent running sessions as I don't like my trains always sitting in their boxes, they need to spin their wheels.  Thank you @lighthouse and @disturbman for starting this new thread. 4 Link to comment

Welshbloke
From L to R, a ten car 153 Series, eight and six car 165 Series (the latter with half a Panorama Express Alps at the back) and ten car 457 Series. Â 5 Link to comment
railsquid
Running my Chuo-Sobu Line 101s:  Chuo-Sobu Line 101 series trains by Rail Squid, on Flickr  Left: MicroAce Right: Kato  The MicroAce one is a long-term renovation project. At first glance the Kato one looks better, and from a technical standpoint it certainly is, but the MicroAce version is in some respects more accurate, particularly the cab window slope, which much closer to the prototype than Kato's. 5 Link to comment
serotta1972
Ran my Tobu trains to celebrate the beginning of NFL Football Season.  They just happen to have the colors of the San Francisco 49ers and the Series 100 looks like a helmet.    5 1 Link to comment
Kiha66
Ran my Chinese DF11z for the first time last night, I need to get some more Chinese coaches for it to pull! 11 Link to comment
disturbman
That’s a very, very impressive locomotive. I very much want one and I shall resist to the temptation. 1 2 Link to comment
Kiha66
It's an amazing model, probably the best locomotive I have honestly. The detail is over the top and the thing runs like a swiss watch. Also 6 pin dcc ready, with working head and tail lights! 2 Link to comment

Kiha66
I see you managed to get one of the limited edition Aki, very nice! I wish I had managed to pick one up while they were still available! 1 Link to comment
serotta1972
I didn't realize it was a limited edition until you mentioned it and looked it up, there's no mention on the box as such.  Link to comment
serotta1972
Ran one of my all time favorite trains, the Kintetsu Urbanliner along with its siblings.  Still debating whether to get the Tomix Urbanliner Plus and waiting for the re-release of the MicroAce `Iseshima Liner` Renewal Red Formation.  7 Link to comment
railsquid
As I acquired a couple of Croatian coaches, a very vague approximation of the EC10/EC11 "Mimara" EuroCIty as it might have run between Berlin and Zagreb ca. 1999:  EC10/EC11 "Mimara" by Rail Squid, on Flickr  (yes the DB logo is the wrong one for the period...) Â I am not claiming that the "old" logo ran on "red" 103 class very long after the new DB was formed, but I have read, and seen pictures of, that the "old logo" continued to be used/found for many many years after the creation of the new DB, so you can just claim it is one of those. Â I don't ever recall seeing the old logo in use after 1994 apart from possibly on preserved stock the whole time I was living in Berlin, so at some point I will get round to adding new logos to some of the locos with the Bundesbahn one to keep my inner rivet counter happy ;). 1 Link to comment

serotta1972
I suggest you get one now while they are available, unless you find a used one while in Japan it might not be any cheaper later on. Regret not getting it when HS had it on sale a while back. Link to comment
