Out of boredom I put together a fictional SL train - SL C62 with ED76-522 🤣

Would be a great train today between Otaru and Asahikawa

It was released a month ago. It is a subtle livery. The train almost looks uniformly white from afar.

The MicroAce one is a long-term renovation project. At first glance the Kato one looks better, and from a technical standpoint it certainly is, but the MicroAce version is in some respects more accurate, particularly the cab window slope, which much closer to the prototype than Kato's.

Ran my Tobu trains to celebrate the beginning of NFL Football Season.  They just happen to have the colors of the San Francisco 49ers and the Series 100 looks like a helmet.

That’s a very, very impressive locomotive. I very much want one and I shall resist to the temptation.

It's an amazing model, probably the best locomotive I have honestly.  The detail is over the top and the thing runs like a swiss watch.  Also 6 pin dcc ready, with working head and tail lights!

I didn't realize it was a limited edition until you mentioned it and looked it up, there's no mention on the box as such.

Ran one of my all time favorite trains, the Kintetsu Urbanliner along with its siblings.  Still debating whether to get the Tomix Urbanliner Plus and waiting for the re-release of the MicroAce `Iseshima Liner` Renewal Red Formation.

As I acquired a couple of Croatian coaches, a very vague approximation of the EC10/EC11 "Mimara" EuroCIty as it might have run between Berlin and Zagreb ca. 1999:

I am not claiming that the "old" logo ran on "red" 103 class very long after the new DB was formed, but I have read, and seen pictures of, that the "old logo" continued to be used/found for many many years after the creation of the new DB, so you can just claim it is one of those.

 

(And of course, some trains have had the old logo re-applied for nostalgia and other marketing etc purposes)

I thought I'd better mention it before someone came along and pointed out the discrepancy.

 

I don't ever recall seeing the old logo in use after 1994 apart from possibly on preserved stock the whole time I was living in Berlin, so at some point I will get round to adding new logos to some of the locos with the Bundesbahn one to keep my inner rivet counter happy ;).

Looks fantastic! I've been wanting the Tomix Urbanliner Plus but haven't found any good prices for them.

I suggest you get one now while they are available, unless you find a used one while in Japan it might not be any cheaper later on. Regret not getting it when HS had it on sale a while back.
