Thanks. I'm more than tempted. I ordered it. I hope they release the loading bay as a single item. I'd like to have a few or them. Maybe I'll try to copy this one to make a multi truck loading bay. 2 Link to comment

gavino200
As luck would have it, I hadn't completed my purchase. I should know better than to pull the trigger without hearing the input from you guys. ☺️ 1 Link to comment

Yep, I was able to do that before when I ordered the same item twice by mistake 😜 This time I went back to do that but realized that I hadn't completed the reservation. When I looked closer I noticed that HS was suggesting the individual items to me. I really don't need the trucks. I have a gizillion. And my depot is going to be a Sagawa depot to work with my Super Rail Cargo train. I also have lots of fork lifts. What I really want is the loading bay door to incorporate into my Sagawa depot. So I'll just get one by itself. If I can copy it I will. If not I'll get a bunch as parts for a kitbash. Edited May 15, 2020 by gavino200 Link to comment

I have the Kato and the Fujimoto ones. The Fujimoto sets weren't easy to find. I think all of these probably need a bit of painting. Some day I'll get round to it! 1 Link to comment
cteno4
The trucks are new arent they? I don’t remeber any Tomytec trucks with opening doors save the horse trucks (now that was an odd truck to model!) new small forklifts are nice they look to be the small kind that can even fit into the truck. Also featured in the new sawmill set https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10683519 small forklifts are harder to come by, all the above ones are container forklifts. Aoshima did a little one but colored plastic and not great on the details. There are cast metal ones and a couple of euro ones as well for little ones and I’ve seen some on shapeways but pricy. jeff Link to comment
Cat
Yes, looking at the photos the new forklifts are smaller than the older Tomix models which I have here. Hmm, we could use one or two of the smaller ones... All the various forklifts could benefit from a little detail painting, especially the wheel hubs and some weathering. JR 500系
I believe the trucks are new and not included in the earlier truck collections... besides, they come with the openable doors which is pretty interesting... I still ordered it, though I already don't have space for a truck terminal.... X_X Link to comment

X_X Just what I need more bloody trucks, I already have at least 40 of various sizes, mind you I will be getting this set as there are some pretty good trucks in there and as you said they are all new models, not too mention all the other detail parts, I am going to have a Nippon Express depot next to my freight yard that I have already done the planning for and have the raw materials ready, just have to get rid of more LEGO from my back shed before the "Local Planning Authority" gives me her permission to start construction. I have 5 Nippon Express currently so these 2 extras will be a nice addition as well as the loading docks which I will be able put next to my Tomytec 137 Warehouse to make a decent sized depot.
