    Baiodo - Laser Cut Cardstock Kits

    Came across a new supplier of laser cut cardstock kits - Baiodo. Their first offering is focused on small older style structures and a couple of detail items. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/search?typ1_c=104&cat=rail&target=Make&searchkey=Baiodo I like how they have done a tile roof in cardstock. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10738551/20/7 It appears that they are done in a beige cardstock and require painting. I think I may have to order a couple and see how they go.
  2. Good documentary from 1963 (Showa 38). Mainly centers around activity at Maibara Station, then as now an important junction between the Tokaido and Hokuriku Lines, the latter dominated by steam locomotive hauled trains. Loads of railway scenes we no longer can see- shonan color 80 series, long bonnet Kodama trains, SL hauled passenger trains off the Hokuriku Main Line, parcels traffic...
