Spaceman Spiff
Like The_Ghan I need to sneak this stuff in the house, if not my next purchase will be a plot for myself. No need to be ashamed. Every good Villian eventually has a day where they could use assistance, and there are many excellent Plotting Professionals who can... Oh. Not that kind of Plot. Sorry :) LOL Spiff Link to comment

If you are talking about the first N700 , that will be N700 Z0 Or otherwise both N700 Z0 , Z1 and N700-3000 Link to comment

Month Items Approx Cost (yen) Jul 7 39,232 Aug 4 56,970 Sep 7 39,070 Oct 7 44,935 Nov 7 33,790 Converting it to $AUD and you see it is a lot of money for so much fun :P Link to comment
Martijn Meerts
pre-ordering is dangerous, but we keep doing it nevertheless ;) Link to comment
jappomania
That's a good week finally the package with Endo 200 "fake version" (collector item, that's the only very rare Shinkansen, believe me) and the last Microace Zero Kodama has been delivered. Inside the box I found also the last 3 Kato Portram and some junk Kato Zero,200 and orange TGV for kitbashing If the box from R10 with 3 Tomix N700 is here before saturday this can be a "Golden Week!" I'm still waiting around 25KG of "Japan Railfan Magazine" but I think I need 1-2 months (surface/sea shipping) ciao Massimo p.s.R10 Just confirm me pre-order of Tomix 100 K set 6 cars repainted in Blue/white and the Greenmax Monorail Link to comment
Dani
I ordered enough track and switches to mount 50 or 60% of my track plan. I placed the order last Friday, and today it's travelling from Hattons (from 3 to 5 days to deliver in Spain): 30 * Peco Model Railway Products SL-300F 1 yard (91.5cm) length of Finescale Nickle Silver flexible track 2 * Peco Model Railway Products SL-302F 1 Yard of Nickle Silver Flexible Track with Concrete Sleepers 1 * Peco Model Railway Products SL-14 Track Fixing Pins 1 * Peco Model Railway Products SL-310 Rail Joiners/Fishplates for N & 009 gauge (24 per pack) 1 * Peco Model Railway Products SL-311 Insulated Rail Joiners/Fishplates for N & 009 gauge (12 per pack) 1 * Peco Model Railway Products SL-347 Dummy point motor 2 * Peco Model Railway Products SL-E386F Finescale curved double radius right hand point with electrofrog 3 * Peco Model Railway Products SL-E387F Finescale curved double radius left hand point with electrofrog 1 * Peco Model Railway Products SL-E390F Finescale double slip with electrofrog 1 * Peco Model Railway Products SL-E391F Finescale right hand small point with electrofrog 2 * Peco Model Railway Products SL-E392F Finescale left hand small point with electrofrog 1 * Peco Model Railway Products SL-E395F Finescale right hand medium point with electrofrog This means work for several months... I received everything today!!!! It's the first time I have code 55 in my hands, and all Peco track and turnouts look spectacular. I hope to post progresses laying the track soon. Link to comment
Martijn Meerts
The Peco code 55 is as easy to use as regular code 80, it's even more sturdy than code 80. The only problem I've had, is that the insulated rail joiners could've been better. I've had several of them that didn't fit on the rail all that well, and using more force ruined them. linkey
Just came in was the KATO EF510-0 and what has just been shipped out is the new KATO 800 Series shinkansen "Sakura" Link to comment
Krackel Hopper
Just received an order of containers.. I'm going to need more koki cars.. Link to comment
ShinCanadaSen
Just received my Coke containers too!!! They are real nice but don't have bottoms, my kato containers are actual boxes, is this normal for tomix containers? Also got (same shipment) my B-Train Shorty 581/583. Had to build the 2 cab cars, as per the orders from my 3 year old son. It is a different design from my 0 series B-Train and goes together to make a much more solid unit. My son also asked if this train has a name ? I never thought of it, does it? If people are interested I could take some pics and post them. Kai Edited for spelling - iPhone makes some interesting corrections ! Link to comment
Krackel Hopper
As far as I know, most N-scale containers do not have bottoms. None of my Kato or Tomix containers have a bottom.. What Kato containers do you have that come with a bottom? I have a B-Train 581 on order as well. it shipped yesterday with my MicroAce 789 Series Super Hakucho.. woot! Not sure if the 581/583 has a name.. Link to comment
KenS
The bottomless containers snap onto the Kato and Tomix (and probably other) KOKI container flat cars. The cars have small tabs that grab the inside of the container. Link to comment
keitaro
none of my containers i have purchased have bottoms kato ones and tomix mix. I think some of the cars with containers included have bottoms i will check this on my set when i get home. Link to comment
ShinCanadaSen
Exactly, it's the containers that came with the Kato Koki 106's. I'll have to go look at them in them in the morning. I'll post a few pictures too! Kai Link to comment
