I am wondering if anyone can recommend any similar books.  I purchased this and would like to find more layout books but I am finding the search process tedious - trying to check out the various publications available but sometimes the translation software leaves something to be desired.  And it is hard to judge content.  I bought the plan book based on a recommendation and would certainly appreciate any additional suggestions.

i remember someone here on the forum posted I think a Twitter account or blog of the author that had a lot of other plans posted on it, but I can’t find it.

Thanks for the information on Kunihiko Ikeda. I’m kind of interested in his comic, Karechi, about a train conductor. Looks like some nice illustrations of JNR in the 1960s.

Received a few items from a new-to-me company, Artitec. They are in the Netherlands. They seem to make a wide variety of stuff in many scales, finished models and kits.

I bought three items in 1:160 scale.

 

 

A couple of cargo bikes. Not specifically Japanese, but maybe a unique detail for a Japanese scene. They are really well done - a combination of photo-etched and formed metal, and I think 3D printed plastic.

 

 

Then, there are these extremely well done semi-industrial storage cabinets - most of them open with detailed interiors and amazingly thin and detailed doors.

Thanks for sharing! Browsed their range and as scenic assecories I would already get ideas (civil old US Motorcycle in front of some Bike workshop or bar anyone?)

 

They seem to be focused a lot onWW1 and WW2 scenics it seems.

I did buy several of them yes, I bought mine through amazon.com in Kindle format. Didn't have any issues, although not all are available on amazon.com
