It's a Digitrax DN163K0a with the lights cut to fit, pretty much what I expected to see in there. Thank you again! Would have been nice if it was a TCS 🙂 but the Digitrax is what I'd expect as well. Thanks- Yeah, it appears that Kato Osaka store's done some customs to modify the logos there on the Orange (maybe the red too?), but otherwise normal releases are the same as the last printing (which i what i bought in september) Link to comment

I *think* TCS makes a decoder that fits it without having to modify the light stalks, I seem to remember that from when I was looking for a decoder for my Seven Stars. Yeah they have lots of different versions of the decoder with different light configs. I bought a bunch cheap from a store going out and also using some eBay bonuses and have used a bunch. serotta1972
Got the green one but it's the same number as the maple colored one. Love these little guys. Had the orange one before and sold it and thank goodness they were re-released. 9 1 Link to comment
EdF
The green is like a promotional wrap, that's why it's the same number. 2 Link to comment

I must admit, I’m not really into Kansai trains but these Eizan electrics look very nice. 1 1 Link to comment

Here, Bill, now you don't have to tear yours apart to check it the mechanism: https://www.flickr.com/photos/bandmbill/ The coreless motor is very long, with a flywheel on the single-ended shaft. A chain of gears powers the second axle. Kato can't use this design to make a similar new replacement for their 4-axle bogie Pocket Line power unit. I hope the axles can "rock" a bit to help get better electrical contact on slightly uneven rails or frogs. Most previous 4-wheel chassis hold the axles in place too stiffly to let this happen. cteno4
Cool it looks like more metal in there so hopefully better momentum along with the flywheel to get them thru the uneven track bits. i assume this will take over the plain mechs here? If so I wonder if same part number or new ones. jeff Link to comment

JR 500系
Just a couple of stuff from Zen Market... I just LOVED how Zen took so much care to individually wrapped each item in plastic cling and then bubbled wrapped!! First up, one Kintetsu commuter train that I had been searching a while for... the 5200 series! Love the invertor logo on the side! Next a Kiha-47 Niigata colour for cheap... bought this for a really interesting 'restoration' project ~ 🙂 And every purchase is NOT complete without some buses for me ~ As they say, gotta catch them all! 😛 Edited November 16, 2019 by JR 500系 4 Link to comment

After much waiting long time, I've ordered MicroAce EF 58-61 to increase my Imperial fleet. Also ordered NYK 2210 (20ft containers) as well. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10467409/30/2 My EF58-61 has arrived. Yippee Now I have to attached the flags to the locomotive. There was small bit a tape from that has markings from 3M with 4 very small dots, that is the same size of the imperial golden seal, which might be very difficult to handle, even with tweezers. Question to the forum: what would be the best solution to keep the flags on permanently, as I have a feeling if I use the small adhesive dots, the flag will dislodge itself as soon I put the locomotive back in it's box.
