Sure! At the moment I've actually won 1 Seibu bus, 3 Toei busses, 2 Tokyu busses, 10 Keio busses, 1 Tobu West bus, and 1 Ryukyu bus. Unfortunately there's more to come!

what! did i see 10 keio buses? wow!! very well done! one can never have too many buses! which collection do the Keio buses belong to? There aint much Keio buses around the collections so i am just wondering...

I absolutely fell in love with Hankyu during my stay in Osaka, so I'm really happy I could get this set from Sammy. Thanks, mate!

I wish someone would finally make proper Noseden models as well.

OH MY GOSH, I LOVE THE PAINT SCHEME ON THAT! If I hadn't already bought so many busses, I'd get one of those, too! What series is your train?

That's actually a tough question, and it just got even tougher because I just got a few more busses (and yes, more Keio busses in a different paint scheme).

From off the top of my head, I have four Keio highway busses, total, three are this older type:

https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/j471713332, to be used as background scenery/in a bus parking lot. One Keio bus is a newer highway bus. Four (I think) are mini busses, three regular, and one with a slanted front windshield. I don't actually remember any more off of the top of my head!

Any more questions?

Yup, Hankyu knows how to be elegant. It's a Hankyu 9300 series.

Hah, sounds like we could! How many busses do you have at the moment?

Ordered the final three cars for my E231-500. Just in time I think as I notice Kato are now listing the pack as out of stock.

Hmmm I have an 8 car and 11 car collection.

But I know my platforms are too short for 11. So never got the last 3. That makes me wish I had.

Took a punt on what was labeled as an add-on pack but pictured as an actual basic set, and got me a pointy-nosed Shinkansen for not much money.

Thought it might be useful for clearance testing but the pointy nose sticks out much less than the 700-series Dr. Yellow.

The Tomix 500 series is surprisingly nimble for a Shinkansen. Mine will go through R282 curves without complaint, which is a radius below what Kato equivalents need. Mine languished as a three car basic set for years until I managed to acquire the two four car add on sets intended for the updated version. Those plus two single cars and the second power car gave me a 14 car set, my most complete Shinkansen.

The 10-892 add on pack for the E231-500 still seems plentiful on ebay and Amazon at the moment, it's just presumably going to get harder to find and more expensive from now on. It does explain why the 10-891 pack is cheaper despite having four coaches instead of three, if Kato have those and the basic set left in stock.

Just got a MAGICAL box from Banzai Hobby! Full of catenary poles, concrete double track, and 22 packs of Kato 20-000, hopefully enough to finish my storage yard!!!

nice! my all time favorite train! you need a longer train though... 3 cars are too short...    ;P

while long and sharp, i find the nose of the 700 series more of a problem for turning... the flat bill makes more clearance space required especially when turning... my outer loop always poses a problem for the 700 series....

Havent had a parcel for sometime now... but here's a small pre-order from Ami.... funny have the E231-500 in Sobu line color, and another nice Odakyu 8000 series.... i missed the ready to run model by MA, so a tomytec one isnt half bad...

I will acquire a couple more cars from the "junk" section on my perambulations around Akihabara - an unprototypical 5 is the maximum practical for the layout and long enough that the entire set can't be taken in at a single glance.

Well it's been awhile, but I have stuff!

I suspect that I may need some assistance in applying the numbers & in locating the appropriate signboards.

And I need to get another Koki case

Though this will do for the moment.

Hmm, none of my Shinkansens (Tomix, Greenmax and Kato) have any problem with 280mm curves, though I only have two Kato ones.

Look at that amazing haul! Makes me sad that I didn't get the Sobu 231-500 off of Buyee a few weeks back.....:sad7:

Bought the full version of Anyrail for $59 (OUCH!!!) But it will be worth it to actually design my entire layout, instead of just partially designing it 50 parts at a time.

It's ok! The Kato one is still available at HS (click here) and Ami Ami (click here) and most other retailers..

better still, HS has the TOMIX one on bargain sale now!

* pretty strange... now i realized both bearing 6-cars, the Kato one at regular Ami price cost the same as the Tomix one on HS bargains sale....

I'd my eye on a few second-hand ones, then a Hobby Search email indicated that they got some in stock. Now to track down some N scale Japanese police cars.

I told myself that I wouldn't buy any more busses, but... well... It happened again, and again, then a few more times after that...
