Densha Posted April 20, 2015 Share Posted April 20, 2015 Could this be meant for the HS2? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Speed_2) The Class 800 and 801 are not meant to be used on high speed lines after all, but for replacement of HST125 stock on conventional intercity routes. Link to comment

Hitachi of course has the advantage of a plant in the UK, to counter the lowball bid the Chinese are 100% certain to offer. Link to comment
