Densha
There's really no need to apply glue to the underbody parts and bogie parts. They will stay properly in place even if you not glue them. Interesting to see that you can install Kato couplers so easily though. I didn't expect that. Link to comment
TheNicofabi
Mine should arrive tomorrow most likely... and yeah... after seeing that you can install these Kato couplers so easily i think i need to get those myself for my keihan trams, and from my experience I can agree that there is really no need for gluing the parts... Densha
Note that installing bogie-mounted TN couplers is the same process. I personally prefer body-mounted TN couplers, but I still haven't installed any of those on my trains yet because they are quite expensive. Link to comment
katoftw
You have found TN body mounted couplers that work without fouling the mechs? Link to comment
Densha
I assume you have tried installing body-mounted couplers then? I haven't tried myself yet, but if it doesn't work I'll just go with bogie mounted couplers then. They're cheaper as well. Link to comment
katoftw
Yes. Nothing body mounted included third party options has worked for me yet. I'm not saying they don't exist. I just haven't done or seen anything that does work. Link to comment

katoftw
Interesting. I notice he has most of the Platz versions and about half the Tomytecs available. What where did he locate the others? I seen like the green tea version on yahoo for 15,000 yen. Link to comment
Densha
I believe he made the others himself. Such as this one: https://twitter.com/SUBA_Tc103_555/status/741587031118073856 I found out that he also has a website, offering some decals and other detailing parts for mainly Keihan 600's: http://www.legacyworld.net/~6stars/ Link to comment

I seen like the green tea version on yahoo for 15,000 yen. They might all be TomyTec ... I have seen a number of people who've used the Platz kit decals on the TomyTec models ... requires some "adjusting" since the Platz (really Green Max) kits are oversized ... but it works Link to comment

Densha
Here's a nice custom paint job of a Keihan 600 in the new Keihan livery. It's obviously still fictional at the moment, but I won't be surprised if Keihan actually paints the Ishiyama-Sakamoto Line trains into this livery at some point. https://twitter.com/SUBA_Tc103_555/status/748949415436492800 https://twitter.com/SUBA_Tc103_555/status/752543741144014848 https://twitter.com/SUBA_Tc103_555/status/752541450949103616 P.S.
