Model or real train ?????????

The entire thing is real, but shot in tilt-shift.

 

No model trains in that vid.

 

I'm not entirelty convinced that the shallow FOV is due to tilt-shift lenses, as the plane of focus doesn't seem planar in some shots (as it must be with a tilt-shift lens)—but rather seems to zig-zag or curve across the scene, to keep the subject in focus…which is what made me wonder if much of the tilt-shift effect wasn't done on a computer…but I could be mistaken.

You're right, it could be added in postproduction.

 

Definitely not a model, tho.
