All that water seems like unnecessary weight on the cable.  I'm not getting in that thing.  When I have to go up a mountain, I just climb it, burn some calories.  Then I feel entitled to ice cream :)

The cabin seems to be made for 20 or more people, while the actual cabin had 10 tubs. The weight of the water and tubs is less than the average weight of extra people in the passenger version. To answer the question, i don't think the Tomytec version could operate as a single cable, single stop line. It might be possible to mod it to work that way, but then building one at home is also an option, using the available commercial cabins and scratch build buildings.
