Guest JRF-1935 Posted February 26, 2011 Share Posted February 26, 2011 What will never cease to amaze me with japanese Shinkansens is that they really look like an airplane: a fat body with very small windows. This one looks like a "bottle nose" dolphin to me - rather than the "duck bill" version. I'm sure this all has to do with turbulence at high speeds, especially in tunnels. Wish I was a Physics Major so I could understand all this stuff! Rich C Link to comment
