Can Tomix or Kato HO carriages or trucks run on Marklin rails?

I have a question regarding Tomix and Kato HO scale products,can they run on Marklin rails,I am considering buying some Japanese carriages in the near future

Carriages should be fine as long as they don't have any interior lighting in them, locomotives aren't going to work without extensive modifications.

Japanese HO runs on 2 rail DC like American HO.  Marklin uses a center stud system for  one of the motor contacts and maybe, though I don't remember for sure, AC as well.  You may have to watch your curve radii, but that's always a given.  Since a Japanese carriages are two rail you shouldn't have any shorting issues.
