nartak Posted October 28, 2013 Share Posted October 28, 2013 Visited Freight Festival hosted by JR Freight on Oct. 27.The event is hosted at Sumidagawa Freight station, which is just adjacent to Minami-Senju station of JR Joban line, Tokyo Metro Hibiya line and Tsukuba Express.Only HD300 Hybrid Diesel Locomotive was on display. Actually they announced EH500 and EF64 also will be there but the bad weather on previous day messed their diagram and unfortunately they couldn't show up.They were selling obsolete item. Just checked selling obsolete signal for 10,000 Yen or so (I saw a person buying it but where to store it?). Others like road number plate from real locomotive are on auction starting something like 100,000 Yen...Photos taken at the festival venue or around at Sumidagawa station.I will try to post movies later. 3 Link to comment
