I'm encouraged to read that the new building will re-use materials from the old, as well as other older buildings to preserve the feeling of the original.  When I read the first lines of the article, I was fearing the new building would be a  theme-park like monstrousity totally out of character from the setting of the station- which would likely be the action taken had this renovation been done 15~20 years ago.
