Interesting item from Bachrus, the wheel doctor. basically just a rubber roller hooked up to a 12v motor that you can rest your wheels against and spin them with a sponge next to it to wipe the wheels clean. not sure if its great for n scale wheels though from the looks of the size of it. pretty simple to engineer one though!

Interesting solutuion, but unless you've really got caked-on dirt, it's hard to beleive it's much better than simply draping a paper towel over a length of track, wetting it with alcohol, and rolling the car back and forth.  With the electric one, you're going to have to clean and replace the sponge, and the offsets some of the convenience.
