MES N Scale Automatic crossing

Good morning:

 

I stumbled across this in HS website:

A third Party automatic system made by Micro Electric Systems for the Tomix track (i think).

 

Anyone has any idea about this? It seems a pretty good (and cheap) alternative to the Tomix Automatic crossing/ Kato Unitrack crossing, except it doesn't come with the lowering and raising gates..

 

Wonder how it works, and whether it is easy to set up ~~

Hi JR500

 

It`s a kit, it runs via battery only though i guess with some resitors you could hook it upto a 12v dc out put or dcc it.

 

the one you linked does not have gates

 

it`s for rural areas

 

there are other kits as well pls note you are required to have the tomytec gat set wof these to work
