Commuter train running with broken door open?

I didn't think the risk-averse Japanese would do this, but....

This is a 205 Series EMU running on the JR East Musashino Line running with a door stuck in the open position. Note the heavy cloth barrier and a couple of engineers located near the broken door to keep other passengers away.

Japanese Railroads are so tight that there isn't space to put a train out of service, especially during rush.  They might not have had a choice but to keep running as normal until the train got to the shop.
