This is a 205 Series EMU running on the JR East Musashino Line running with a door stuck in the open position. Note the heavy cloth barrier and a couple of engineers located near the broken door to keep other passengers away. Link to comment
Jcarlton Posted April 13, 2013 Share Posted April 13, 2013 Japanese Railroads are so tight that there isn't space to put a train out of service, especially during rush. They might not have had a choice but to keep running as normal until the train got to the shop. You do what you have to get the job done: Link to comment
