CaptOblivious
Well done, I may have to follow suit to fill my taxi stand…what are Posca paint pens? Speaking of taxi stands… Two more before im off to bed, its 2:30 AM! The sign on the rightmost car reads "TAXIのりば"—"Taxi Stand"! :o Might want to consider a different logo ;) Link to comment
SubwayHypes
haha i kno, i pulled that sticker off a station set, maybe i should have cut the "stand" part off LOL. i use Posca .7mm paint pens, the best part is that they are washable with water so if you mess up your "alterations" you can just wash it off and start over. SubwayHypes
latest additions, got 12 more kato toyotas on the way too, i want to make a huge fleet of taxis now. after their new paint jobs assembled and crudely handpainted, but from far away they look super authentic! Link to comment
cteno4
assembled and crudely handpainted, but from far away they look super authentic! hey its call gradation modeling! you put your highest quality/detailed stuff up front then less and less as you get further back! its the 3' rule, as few times much is seen on layouts closer than 3', so you can cheat a lot! these are looking great! keep the photos coming! I do keep expecting tomy to do a taxi set at some point, seems like it could be a collector thing! cheers jeff Link to comment
bc6
I think N Scale vehicles are GREAT, in fact I need to buy more of em. Here are my vehicles slated for placement on my layout when it happens. Link to comment
Mudkip Orange
But lately I've been thinking that my ideal train layout is basically a giant switching yard with trains running in and around it. This was a stupid idea, in two months and with some time to just play I've seen the light. Train layout fun is mostly based on operational variety. The enjoyment of scenery is in the building of it.
