Shinkansen cleanup crews perform '7-minute miracles' 120 times a day

Recommended Posts

I've seen this article before so it might not be new to some. I couldn't find a thread here, so I'm posting it.

I've watched the clean up crews at Shinjuku (Narita Express, Tobu Nikko) and at Ueno. (Super Hitachi) The Shinjuku clean up crew for the Narita Express seemed less formal and pretty much went to their spots before each door, whereas the Ueno clean up crew lined up before going in. This impression was from my ride on the Super Hitachi over two years ago.

Best wishes,

Grant
