I like the irony of saying it's the first privatised railway in Europe (is it?  I thought privatisation started a little while ago now) then mentioning SNCF has a stake in it. :P

 

But's a moot point I feel.  At least it's a sensible looking high speed train by NTV.  Never heard of them before, I expected it was some sort of AnsaldoBreda stock before today.

I think Alstom likely pushed real hard to have NTV buy the AGV, as SNCF has no interest in it for their lines.
