Probably doesn't really apply to people here but interesting to read. I've only done the cherry blossom, Mt Fuji climb and one military museum in Kyoto.  Saw a couple of Maiko walking in Kyoto.

On views of Tokyo, the Nikon Salon in Shinjuku is on the 25th floor and has a nice view of the station and of Tokyo and it's free and not crowded.

A little chuckle here, sometimes at the writer's chutzpah. But when I tried to pronounce the phrases, I often couldn't understand what he was trying to say.
