And I thought today's Meitetsu was interesting operation.

Its hard to believe how much Meitetsu has lost in the past ten years.    The streamlined 3400s, the Gifu area 600v trams and interurbans, the Panorama cars on the main line.

Yes, indeed.  And more of those stainless cars are being introduced, which could be a design on any private railway in Japan (absolutely no Meitetsu uniqueness/character- a least paint them all red!).  Before long, the common 6000 series will be the target of railfan camera viewfinders.  One reason why I'm visiting Nagoya this January.
