Tomix Wide Tram Track For XTrackCAD

[Mr Frosty]

For those of you who use XTrackCAD and would like to use Tomix wide tram tracks, here are the required parameter files and instructions on installing them.

 

Firstly locate the following folder:  C:\Program Files\XTrkCAD 4.0.3a\share\xtrkcad\params

Next, locate the file called:   tomix-n

Make a copy of this file (just in case)

Open the file, I use notepad.

Copy the text file from below

Paste in the copied text BELOW the line highlighted in red (see "Param Files" picture)

Save and close the file

 

Open XrackCAD and the tram tracks will appear in the start of the track selector bar (see "Track" picture)

 

The track can be seen in the "Plan" picture
