You know, I heard the Towada Kankou RR is about to close down due to dropping passenger numbers. This due to the Tohoku Earthquake of April and the ending of the JR East Ltd. Express services calling at Misawa (TKRR's connection with the national network) with the introduction of the Tohoku Shinkansen.

I wanted to visit this company in the future, but now it looks like I should concentrate on the Konan  and Tsugaru railway companies only... It's only a matter of time before those are gone as well. This is very saddening indeed.
