shadrel Posted May 4, 2011 Share Posted May 4, 2011 Hey guys - Have run into an issue with XtrkCad and was hoping someone could help. I am trying to plan a UNITRACK layout, and have set up the related libraries in XTrkCAD. I am trying to do a simple double track concrete loop with superelevated curves (which involves the easement curves). I can't seem to place the easement curve the way I want it to go, have tried using the shift key - but that hasn't worked, for some reason the program places the curve over the straight track. pic attached... help! thanks :) Shadrel Link to comment
shadrel Posted May 4, 2011 Author Share Posted May 4, 2011 Ugh - found the problem and solution: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/XTrkCad/messages/5259?threaded=1&m=e&var=1&tidx=1 Just my luck that the 5th piece of track i put in my layout is the only one with issues in the Xtrk parameter file, anyway - fixed the problem with the parameter file downloaded from the group. FYI: if you are downloading Xtrk 4.0.3a from the site, the bundled xtp file for Kato-N-double track has an issue with track 20-182L, the xtp file from the above mentioned yahoo group (free to join-no approvals) fixes this issue.
