Tomix slab track - viaducts and bridges

Hi all,

I am considering adding some (probably single-track) overhead tracks to my tram layout, to depict an elevated light rail.

I'd really like to use slab rather than sleepered track for this as it is more prototypical for a modern elevated line.

So my question is: can you remove the regular sleepered track from e.g. the Tomix 1072 viaduct, or the Tomix 3030 truss bridge, and replace it with the slab track, Tomix 1046?

Thanks!

As for the viaduct: Yes. It's basically just plain old FineTrack screwed in to the viaduct, and should pop right out. Make sure the slab rail has screw holes in the same places!

Truss bridge: No, not without a lot of work. Unlike the viaducts, the truss bridge is not just finetrack screwed down, but it does appear that the sleepers and rail could be removed if you were determined to. Fixing the slab rail in place in a way that looked realistic would be more of a challenge, I think.
