scott
Thanks for posting that--there's some nice stuff listed, but mainly I appreciate the reinforcement for my feeling that I just can't *afford* to model European railways seriously. Link to comment
to2leo
Nothing interest me this year. Where are the High Speed trains they promised last year from Renfe, IC2000 restock, tram and such? Link to comment
Krackel Hopper
hey hey, I'm liking the BR1216 with the Italian flag. A little off topic, but is there much available for Italian N Scale? Link to comment
Nozomi4ever
hey hey, I'm liking the BR1216 with the Italian flag. A little off topic, but is there much available for Italian N Scale? Unfortunately, no. There isn't much Italian N scale. Other than a handful produced by ACME.. Most Italian trains are in HO. http://www.tee-usa.com/store/acme-n-scale.html Link to comment
stevenh
The BR V270 is nice, but @#$ ... the price tags!? Link to comment
Martijn Meerts
The BR270 is also only available at the "Idee + Spiel" toy stores it seems. I'm not too surprised by the prices they're quite common. Interesting is the railbusses. A 2-unit railbus with 1 motorized unit and 1 dummy looks to cost about 150 euro. My 2 Kiha01, 2 Kiha02 and 2 Kiha03, all of them motorized, put together cost less than a single 2-unit railbus ;) Link to comment
kmcsjr
THIS IS MY NEW BEST FAVORITE EVER SITE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted this!!!! We were on a family Vacation in Germany this year. We were on this train in Munchen!!!!!!!! My pic could be the catalog shot WOOOOO HOOOOOO! Now to find a vendor!!!!! I can't really do a backflip, but if I could!!! OK, on closer examination it's not exactly that train.... shhhh, don't tell the kids Anyone have a good vendor for these? Link to comment
quinntopia
kmcsjr...I love your enthusiasm! As far as a vendor goes, if I was looking for Kato/Hobbytrain I only know of one US-based retailer that would potentially have this in stock (when its released): http://www.tee-usa.com/store/kato-catalog.html In fact, it looks like you can pre-order it right now (I highly doubt that its available at the moment...is there a release date I missed?). http://www.tee-usa.com/store/product35698.html You may want to compare prices -depending on the exchange rate (and shipping costs!) - with some of the retailers in Germany that I have found very easy to work with. Modellbahnshoppe Lippe has some English but also let's you pay via PayPal: http://www.modellbahnshop-lippe.com/index.asp?l=gb lokshop.de is another one to check out as well (the link Nozomi4ever posted in the first post) Link to comment
kmcsjr
Thanks Product number searches don't seem to work as retailers seem to use a variety of prefixes. It's not in stock anywhere I can see, but I will find it Link to comment
kmcsjr
Turns out the set it isn't due out til November and info on how many cars has not been released. Good as I shouldn't be spending more money this week..... Link to comment
